年冬—年春（民国33年冬—34年春），为配合第二次世界大战缅甸战役作战需要，国民*府远征*在北海麻风院附近的白屋村荒坡上修建简易机场，供美国*用飞机起降使用，成为美空*的一个中转站，飞机起降频繁。直到抗日战争结束后，美*飞机撤走，机场一度沉寂。
